The buiding is designed like a large sea-shell whashed up onto the shore with a luminous envelope made up of Corian pearly white material. It is organised in crosswise bands of different heights that also slide horizontally to create external views of the landscape and expresses both in terms of volume and struct ure a clear readability of the programme. The succession of span of different heights provides natural cross – ventilation through every bay in the swimming pool hall. The architecturally-defined space of the swimming pool both dynamic and structured is punctuated by the succession of portal frames and by the play of light and shade created by the roof openings. The beach of the leisure bathing pools is visually extended on the south onto the sea.
