The project is located on a wide urban esplanade, near the “Italie 2” Shopping Mall, on the Place d’Italie, in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. It creates a mixed use programme, a combination of different functions as a hotel, common gaming spaces, creative retail in the form of pop-up-stores, bars, restaurants, a planted promenade, … to favour mixed usage inside of a plural building.

This building wants to be completely urban and mutable in its usage. It integrates a certain modularity in its design to take into account society’s evolution, the new time of the city, alternative uses. This building mutualizes functions and will be able to evaluate depending on its needs.

The project was designed as a big inhabited bridge of a length of 190m, with a planted urban promenade at 13m above street level.
The hotel is located on top of this green promenade. It was designed as an imbrication of simple volumes – this relief creates an effect of “clouds”.
